About Us

Located in the heart of one of Chicago’s most vibrant and diverse neighborhoods, Equal Mental Health is a modern psychiatry practice dedicated to serving adults of all backgrounds, with a special focus on the LGBTQ+ community. We recognize that being part of the LGBTQ+ community is not an illness—but we also acknowledge the unique challenges many face, which can increase vulnerability to stress and mental health concerns. At Equal Mental Health, we believe in the fundamental right to live authentically, to love freely, and to be loved and accepted for who you are.

We understand that mental health is an essential part of overall well-being, encompassing emotional, psychological, and social health. Our compassionate team of providers offers personalized psychiatric care through a range of services, including medication management (pharmacotherapy) and talk therapy (psychotherapy), designed to support your goals and improve your quality of life.

Mental health treatment can help reduce stress, build emotional resilience, foster healthier relationships, and empower you to make meaningful, positive changes. At Equal Mental Health, we’re here to walk with you every step of the way.

Meet the Providers

Hi,

I've been helping people improve their lives through mindful change and a supportive voice since 2017. I have experience with all ages with specialties in the Queer community, individuals or couples, and non-monogamous relationships. I connect with the client on their level.

We create a working relationship that helps them feel supported and seen and cared for. I lead with compassion and understanding no matter what you bring! I'm here to be your loudest cheerleader as you make necessary changes and work toward your life goals.

Hello,

I believe the relationship you develop with yourself is the foundation for the relationships you create in the world around you. A strong foundation requires that you remain openminded and are prepared to challenge your assumptions.

Since beginning my therapy practice I have had the opportunity to work with clients contending with a wide variety of issues to include but not limited to: trauma and post traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, resource insecurity, gender and sexuality validation, chronic pain, and loss.

There are many roles that therapy can play in your life. I welcome the opportunity to talk with you about what makes sense to you.
